Statement

• Air is a precious concept to me. So, I always find myself staring at the sky. I imagine different skies. I'm inspired by colors that happen in the sky. There are endless compositions there. Life on the earth depends on things happening in the sky. I don't know what this Cloud Apparatus is. I think it might be some imaginary machine that is up there making the clouds. Oddly, when I was around 18 or something, I used to paint t-shirts at a local mall using an airbrush. It's a tool you use to make paintings with air. It's a modern painting tool. Typically, it's used to make commercial art. I've put it away for years. But I've decided to embrace using it again simply because of my connection to breathing meditation and how that connection is a life force. This painting emerged out of that meditative process.
